isnt television just a brilliant medium for advertising?

i mean, yeah.

its essentially jsut a way for advertisers to sell products... the tv execs or whatever have a great idea for a show, hire some actors to plug it in order to get high ratings so many people will watch, in return for advertising money.

and foxtel? where you actually pay for ads? brilliant.
