The 1st one is just a bullshit circuit, kinda how physics is, relative to how much i understand.
The 2nd, if you have a windows computer and you copy install or download something, the time remaining always alters rapidly and in stupid ways, like from 15 mins to 6 days to 30 seconds. And that's the guys that designed the time remaining section saying how long he is going to take.
