my intro day to uni was pre cool

it wasnt what i was expecting

we split up into groups and followed our 'mentors' which were people doing the course we're doing (in my case BLAS - bachelor of liberal arts and sciences) and we went and played some orientation games (okay, we played one and it was dumb) and then we went to a lecture about the actual course we were doing and how good it is etc etc
and i hung out with some cool kids who turned out to be twins even though they looked different, called nick and sasha, and i was gonna add them on fb but there are so many nicks and sashas with their last name so i'll let them add me. man i hope they didnt think i was annoying or weird or something. that would really suck.
and then i also saw maria and dendong there
and then jemma bought me chocolate and it was pretty cool too

and for lunch i went to manning bar which is really nice actually and i had the amazing... wait let me do a full on review for you guys:

Chicken Ceasar Burger

Score: ★★★★☆ 
Cost: ~$10.20 (around $9 with access card)
Comments: Delicious. It tasted sort of like chicken ceasar salad (which isn't the default ceasar salad for the record! normal ceasar salad is in fact without chicken, hence the flavour chicken ceasar salad is a variety with chicken in it) with 1 egg as well. Imagine an egg and bacon roll with a twist: ceasar salad dressing instead of the usual great but generic bbq sauce. Now add crispy lettuce and a delicious chicken breast. And to top it all off, the perfect amount of parmesan: not that much, but enough to add delicately to the flavour. Then replace the second rate bread of most egg and/or bacon rolls with delicious fluffy but toasted burger buns of a rate certainly greater than second, ie first. The bread is first rate is what I am trying to say. In addition it comes with a side of chips with unlimited (but don't go too crazy or it'll probably suck) tomato sauce, bbq sauce and chicken salt, and drinks of course from a bar. The free water is really cool because it has a full on bar handle to pull yourself, and it's refrigerated for extra niceness. Did I mention it's delicious?

so last week i activated my iphone which meant that i paiinfully spent more than 3 days updating the itunes on both my laptops and it came up with so many fuckin errors it was like babysiitting 2 fuckin toddlers like i had to sit there and monitor both laptops constantly so they dont fuck up and having t o reinstall a bunch of other software that "could be" related to the problem but indeed were not omg. shit kept insisting that i wasnt the admin so i had to go download this shit through a bunch of back door ways, only to discover that i shouldve just updated 1 of my laptops since itunes was all like "derp no using 2 computers herp now were going to erase everything goodbye" then it deleted all my playlists as well and replaced them with my computer playlists which i didnt want.

so i finally got all my songs and playlists right, even my ringtone made and shit and got all the artwork in and shit was good for the next 3 days. until i tried to upload lana del rey. fukin itunes didnt want to open it up on my computer. and then it decided to delete all my songs and playlists again wut why did it do that then it stopped displaying my iphone as a device so i had to fukinn update 11 to 11.0.02 or whatever i dont fukin know the difference and of course mid way thrrough the update it like crashed everything and was liek "error 12314116 some stupid number" and quit

so after going through a bunch of websites tryin to fix shit itunes is finally in order but now i have to go manually put all my songs back into my iphone and respective playlists. like shit. ive only had this damn thing for a little more than a week and i have had to upload my library 3 times and update itunes even more times than that. (most of the update attempts failed) i dont freakin wanna sit aroundd for half an hour every 2 weeks updatin itunes so my iphone can be read/ kinda my fault for using an old laptop for my main music collection but thats just where the majority of the songs are jesus goddamn christ my sister is liekm "oomg stop swearin at the computer" ok bye thanks if you actually read this block of shit

tl,dr: hui has first world problems and some anger issues

YOu know when you watch those movies about high school and college life..

And they have that group of really religious christian people that sit on the grass in a circle and talk about jesus and god and strength and stuff???

Well... I ended up in a group of friends like that..

never in my life would I have expected to come into the world of uni and end up sitting in a circle with my friends IN MY OWN DORM ROOM, as everyone has their bible apps opened on their iphones and reading the passage of John:16. like what. Totally did not expect my university experience to be like this.

I'm still real skeptical about religion too. And I feel downright awful about it cause I'm really good at talking about god and jesus and pretending to be up in all that but really, when we started holding hands and praying in a circle.. it was way too surreal for me...

Like just the idea of praying. Like saying words and hoping some celestial fairy will hear it and make shit better.. to me... right now.. that's so dam ridiculous. Like believing in something that doesn't exist... i feel even worst because I nearly started laughing during the prayer.. i dont mean to be rude or anything it's just that.. I can't help by have these sorts of views towards religion. to me it's just so dam absurd that we are sitting in a circle and talking about how we are all weak and need to rely on jesus and that this spiritual being is the key to solving all our problems..

It was just such a ritual. this idea of praying is starting to scare me as if its some form of communicating with god. like in some weird sense, you know those psychic people you go to to try and communicate with someone who is dead?? It feels really like that.

I don't know. religion is is really weird to me.
