why can't you just say "let's have an interview" why is corporate culture so veiled by this weird mask of familiarity. it unnerves me a bit (but i guess i'm just not used to it yet uhh). je ne comprends pas porquoi

Hahahah when i started i went from such proper language and sign offs to just "ok sweet sounds good" without even proper capitalisation / punctuation
Think nobody has time for formality after they've met you once. I'm like extremely friendly with lots of emojis and smiley faces in my emails normally. and especially if im communicating with a junior member, I basically end everything with an exclamation mark and sometimes sign off with 'Kindest of regards'.
also like in Australia, everyone is so casual anyway hahhaha it's good.
also they love saying 'come for a catch up' 'let's circle back' 'grab a quick coffee' etc
