oh yeah, firefox is good because it isn't IE. Google Chrome is okay, but Firefox is vastly pluginable. For instance, I have this plugin, 'google preview', and next to each of my the results of one of my searches on google, it displays a picture of the page.
In terms of web browsers, safari is very 'meh'. It's mediocre, basically. Firefox is open source and is pretty much the only open source competitor to microsoft that actually did something vs it, and its all because of expandability.
And tabs are cool, too.
