So i was looking at the exam timetables and found out that all the hardest subjects are bunched up together at the beginning! like math, english and physics are all in the first 2 days. thats not nice. and after, the rest is pretty mych spread out.

And for some odd reason, the days that the reel anime festival has an early session for evangelion 2.0 at like 2:45 pm or something, i end late so the best option for me is to go on wednesday (when i have no exams wee!) on the 8th of september at the 4:45 session...

bahhh and thats within the first 3 days of exams... -.-'

Aight, so seriously, the leader amounts should all be 5 (unless someone has a tie), with at least one of each gender. I think that Gura definitely has to few people and will lose even further (they should be given an extra 2 and Bamal an extra 1 [me]). And I get that Louis is a leader and quite honestly i think he will help bamal, but with sooo many people disliking him, will he really be able to command the respect that another leader would be able to (like yours truly :D). All in all, this leadership has been a complete cow pat.

So, Am I the only one just a bit pissed of at the school at the moment?
First of all, just because one person drank too much at a party doesnt mean we are all going to turn into addicts and drop out of school, just fuck off about that.
Most people drink too much at some time in their life, but they learn from it. We are not going to all turn into fucking drug addicts so just fuck off, if you think that.

Also what the fuck is with the leaders?
I'm sorry but having a ratio of 5:4:3:2 is just not fucking fair. Im in Gura and they gave us two leaders and sorry but one of them is completely arrogant and will try to dictate the entire house. We only have 2 fucking leaders. How are we expected to win anything, when there are more than double the amount of people leading another house. We already fucking lose everything.

Another thing,
I get the feeling, some people sometimes are only "friends" with me because of who I am friends with. It's like today when both the people I hang out with most were away and I got like ditched. Its really depressing and I felt completely rejected. But jon was really nice and yeh, it was ok. Maybe i'm too close to some people, but sometimes I feel like a third wheel with my closest friends. I am not sporty or fashionable. I don't do anything important or come first in anything. It seems everyone I am friends with has some special quality but Im just someone that does ok at school and is lazy and just is sort of there. I guess maybe it just happens to everyone, but atm I just feel like my existance is pointless to people, and some people are rly just friends with me cause it would be mean to not be. Or cause I am useful. I dunno, maybe Im just fucked.

time travel

i really wish i could time travel. that would be awesome. for one i'd travel back 2 hours and go to sleep. but any time travel would be great. if i could start the year again i would fucking... hmm actually i can't think of anything i would do different. this year so far. maybe study more but we all know that ain't happening. if i could really time travel i know some moments i would go back to a change. like a certain night in birchgrove i'd go back and break that bottle on the floor. or yr 5 picnic day. i would go back and tell myself to put some bordies on (i was wearing speedos). with time travel i could stop myself doing some really stupid stuff, REALLY stupid. unbelieveablly stupid. you no shit wear you just look back on it the next day and think WHY?!? why did i or didn't i? what did i have to lose or gain? but my life is really ok as it is. not great but OK.

what type of sandwich would you be? i think i would be one of those really disappointing B.L.Ts at maccas. where theres like one slice of tomato and like the tiniest half a bite of bacon. and it looks really good on the menu (YEAH it does!!) but IRL its pretty shit. i wish i go back and put more bacon in those disappointing moments (one of the best metaphors of all time). if i could time travel i would go into the future. see the dumbshit i'd do and stop it. plus id know the answers to the exams.

This was a comment on Lambert's post but then it got too long, so I made it a post

I guess its because we send so much telling ourselves that the public cares, the media takes a lot of it's time telling us we will be judged and we infer from this that we will be talked to. In fact it is a part of humanity that leads us to judge in silence. If we see someone in the street fixing a bike, we won't stop to help them cause we are selfish, but if they are a teenager and have a scraped knee, i swear 85% or more of adults will assume, you have been doing tricks or something similar, this reinforces the idea that you are an irresponsible teenager and thus you deserved everything you got. I guess it depends what you are doing but this is generally the case. Everyone who says "judge less not ye be judged" is a hypocrite, we judge automatically, it is part of our nature, we base all our decisions of risk vs. reward. Even which way we walk to school, or similar for example, if you are walking to school, when deciding a route, you will base ur decision based on the time you have, the places you want to avoid and maybe even the people you want to see. The first is simple, you can chose the quickest path and be on time or the longest way and be late, the reward and risk. However if on the long way round you will see your friend who is undoubtedly leaving late then that is your reward. You are risking being late but in doing that you will be able to see your friend. I reckon this is why stuff backfires, we use stereotypes to decide risk and reward. What if that day the friend is sick or spontaneously on time? or the head-teacher is handing out detentions to late comers? As a human we base things off what we think to be true which is why we are a bit fucked. If we expected the unexpected then we would never be surprised and in a way this would be easier, however, this could also lead to being ridiculously pessimistic, yet again, risk of being pessimistic vs. never been upset. It's ironic isnt it that to never be upset we have to reduce ourselves to expect we will be upset.
Kind of like how emotion is a contrast. Happiness is basically the opposite if sad and sadness is the opposite of happiness and so when we are really sad, even just being a little bit happy is kinda like being really happy. So resigning yourself to never being upset, means you will never be so happy, as you dont have the contrast.
Think of it like the graph.
If you reduce youself to having a straight line of emotions, between happy and sad, you will no longer feel happy or sad. whereas if you have a curve like the line on the graph, you are more likely to experience extreme happiness, even though you may experience extreme sadness.
Like you know how Newton said, every reaction has an equal and opposite reaction, every emotion does aswell to have one without the other is like having attraction but no repelling in magnets.
I reckon it's also like if you bounce a ball, the opposite reaction of dropping the ball is it bouncing back up, but it has to drop to come back up...

So that's my theory of emotions.

so apart from the obvious question of why towards Rhiannon, i think we also need to ask ourselves why as human beings. If you're lost, then let me elaborate through the art of dance, but if you can't see that, then just read this. Last week i was riding my bike home and as i changed gear, the gear slipped and my bike (for about 15 minutes) was broken. but the thing that gets me is why didn't anyone help, or even just ask what happened. I mean it was pretty obvious (the pedals would barely move and when they did [which happened only under emense pressure] they made a horrible grinding noise, I mean at some stages i was working on my bike when it was upside down!!!). So did they not check because I'm a 'threatening' teenager, which anyone who knows me knows i'm not, and a kid in pristeen school uniform with a purple helmet doesn't even look threatening! So why humanity, why?!?

given that its 12.57 and I've just shat out my brains onto my art assment (and not even writing it up, just notes, info etc. (but I have all up to halfway the extension essay.))

I though I would write to you about this:
(Forgive me for this, its 12:58 and my sleep deprivation is emphasised by my brain usage and I feel this place should use more long posts)
Also, all of this I do in speaking aswellas writing.

Isn't it interesting how people make up words that aren't dictionary words but they work/ make sense given the formulas for english words with latin and greek stems and suffixes and prefixes et al? Like, misrepresentational or parlatious, parlative or hablative (the three latter would mean talkative were they words) or disfitting or allegration (happiness) or indistillation there are infinite number of words out there. basically all the suffixes and prefixes and stems, along with parts of words stolen from my limited understanding of other languages.

I was just doing my art case study and I noticed when I was writing stuff how many words contained summoned from winword the underline red almighty. Also, how playing around with sentence structure can do cool shit (wee, shakespeare has too many years since passed to consider)

Another thing I do is write shit in Italian everywhere. Like, it's sort of more 'core' than English, if you know what I mean (latin base, etcetera)? But not sentences and stuff, well yeah sometimes. Like, the word questo (this) and con (with) and anche (also) and ma (but) etc etc.

Like, in my art case study thing, for q1, I was like:

NTS. Cull a lot of the information from here and use in the essay, yeah? But enough that this section still gets a good mark. Also, it’s okay to repeat things, just not everything: deve essere piu nella essay dal questo risposto.

Because I write NTS in everything I do. Anyway, that last sentence means there needs to be more in the essay than this response. I'm cool like that. (Oh what, Adrienne is on this blog and she does Italian well? just look the other way, k?)

So I was doing maths

So I was doing maths and playing scrabble over fb with some random cause im cool, anyway, and I thought i'd look at the blog and post cause i haven't in like ages. (more than like 2 days is ages).

SO I thought I'd ask people how's life and try and answer that question myself.

My life is good, i guess. I'm kinda worried about exams, especially 3- unit, cause if I don't do well I have to drop down and I rly dont want to do that, cause I rly love my maths class. And yeh, anyway, life is ok at the moment.
I generally seem to be pretty happy but there seems to be a lot of people who aren't or seem like they are but aren't and I don't seem to understand. I'm not saying, everyone should be happy all the time, but why is it sometimes people feel like shit, why is it, some days, you can't laugh, or can't even smile and I thought, maybe my life is just simple. I dunno.

I guess maybe people forget sometimes. People forget they have people that love them, even if they don't do anything spectacular or even if they don't think they themselves are interesting. Some one loves you, no matter who you are and I know ur gonna say that it's a cliche but it's true. Like I know it may not apply to the most hated person in the world, but we are teenagers, we aren't the most hated people in the world. Someone loves you. I love everyone on this blog.
Everyone. Even Brian, who I haven't met, but I still love him and everyone else. Maybe I give away love too easily, but hey, I have a lot to give. I'm not saying everyone's suddenly going to be happy, but seriously next time you are down, even if you are at the lowest point in your life, someone loves you for who you are. Even if it's only me, someone does.

'JOIN THE GREEN ARMY' 'GREEN IS FOR FREEDOM' 'GREEN IS FOR VICTORY' so because i recently watched 8 mile again, i was like 'FREE WORLD' and then that penguin started copying me. and then this penguin was going crazy so this other penguin was like,

So anyway, I found a legitimate way of contributing to the blog... sort of...

I had one today. tis good stuff. just pinch your nose and if you can still breathe, you're dreaming.

you can control your dreams, sorta. you just keep saying, I can jump over there, of course I can, even if it is unnaturally far away, and then you jump, and you make it. exactly. You say, oh, theres a magazine I wanted to look at over here, then the magazine will be there.

Closing your eyes and spinning in a circle works, but not covering your eyes.

There are sentences you cannot say. I think one of them was, "This world isn't real."

If you say, "no, I'm dreaming. This is a lucid dream." For the second where you are saying "its a lucid dream", everyone looks at you inception style.

If you look at a digital clock or a caution sign, and look away and look back, the text will have changed. I spent about half an hour doing this, to the point where it started saying things like: "Its 11:11, make a wish" or "Have you seen this man" (no picture involved) or "99,999 HP".

If you want to wake up, you can't. But you can spin.

Things go crazy, really quickly, once you know you're in a dream.

Dream-like things still happen, even though you know you're dreaming. Like, sudden changes of scene. You don't realise these.

So the manga weekly sales rankings came out and guess who came first...
One piece of course where volume 59 sold 1,852,541 copies! (i can see oda sitting on his pile of gold XD)

Thats more copies than Naruto, bleach and Katekyo Hitman Roborn! sales combined and they came 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Naruto selling 846,206 copies, Bleach selling 548 912 copies and Katekyo selling 330,180 copies.

In 6th place was Bakuman, 18th was Soul Eater and 20th was pandora hearts. yay!

with a series of repeated calculations, only provide detailed working for the first set of results, then list following results and note that the method used to derive them was identical.

tables and graphs

when appropriate (ie always) use tables and graphs to present your results.

Key part of any report. shows you understand whats going on. interpret them by looking back at the aim, see how relatable the results are.

do not repeat your results, but explain what they show and and what they mean.

questions provided in the sheet, if any, tell you what else you need to discuss here.

*relate results to current knowledge/sci practice outlined in intro and show you understand theoretical basis of prac.

*where relevant, compare to previous studies, comment on similiarities or differences.

*comment on any unexpected results or outcomes

*acknowledge the problems, limitations, inconsistencies or errors as well as probable reasons for.

*suggest further investigation possibilites in your experiment.

in other words, this is the part where you blame everyone and everything else for your results not looking anything like what you calculated.

conclusion

the conclusion is a seperate section. summarise findings as relatable to stated aim of practical.

40-70 words

appendix

detailed information reffered to in the report

references

sources of published information used in the report.
