ok wtf

so im at the oratory like 1 hour ago and all of a sudden marina just calls me and is like, 'yeah you're being picked up at 8 pm tonight'.

so i have to like quickly say final goodbyes but i only manage to get 3 in, then run home to start packing and then i have to somehow figure out how to get my host parents a gift but theres fucking no time i'm just gonna have to give them money this is not a good situation! atm its 6:20 so 1.5 hrs left and i'm pretty much finished packing clothes, which take up my entire suitcase just them so all my misc shit is gonna have to come seperately in a box or something... what the hell why didnt they give me any warning??
on the plus side it's about 10 days with marina before i get my new family which means that i get an extra half month with the new family i'll have who I assume are awesome and much better than this one based off of that they have a daughter my age who just finished her final school exams + a kid who's been on exchange to australia (maybe the same girl idk) + the mum is an english teacher so i guess i could do my 'volunteer work' for her marking english papers and stuff? ++they probably have a number of absurd luxuries such as TV, an oven, and constant hot water ++ they might have pets!

even though for these last two days I've been pretty angry and at odds with my family here in macomer they've been pretty great. the fuckin worst part is that because i didnt know about this till like 4 hours before there was no opportunity to buy them a gift and they have done so much shit for me + paid for so much shit for me + taken me in and treated me with so much kindness I can't not get them a thank-you gift? but there's no fucking time!! shit!!

oh fuck it's 6:30 i gtg finish packing anyway i'm probably not gonna be on the computer much for these next few days and then possibly the last few months as well. idk maybe I will, but i dont want this new family to turn out to be like this one where i spent all the time on the computer cause there was literally nothing to do the entire time and I was at home by myself
