This Is For You

For those who may have heard of the absolutely beautiful book by Rob Ryan, you may not get the reference in this piece of poetry I wrote.

This Is For You

If you ponder what is love,

than this is for you;

Is it the steady rhythm of your heart,

The gentle cries of a child as it is,

comforted by his mother,

the weeping of a lover,

as the other leaves this world,

or the deep red blooms of Autumn;

Love is a fickle thing,

Its defines our actions, our motives;

Yet we still do not have,

 a definition for it;

If you believe in love,

but find it difficult to explain:
