I was wondering

Do you guys think its weird that there are sooo many asian people in sydney? like how did you feel since you were born here in a supposely white people country and then there are tons of Asians and Asian colonies. Like places that are dominated by people who were not born here and such. I mean, schools that reach like 80% asian people and colonies like ashfield or eastwood. Dont you think its strange that when you go to these places, there are no white people at all eventhough we are in white people land? It really feels like a different country you know!

It's 'cause we've just grown up this way. All of our lives we've been surrounded by Asians, so we don't consider it weird that there's so many. Just like you don't think it's weird there's so many white people in Singapore, even though it's supposed to be an Asian people place.

We used to think it was weird, and that's why in the 80s and stuff (when the Asians first came here) there was a big enough backlash against the Asian peoples.

I don't really notice, they are just people. I guess it's the non-racist thing, they are just people and they are treated like every other person I see.

that wasn't meant to sound high brow. Rather more of a, it's normal. Plus I don't really acknowledge my surroundings that much
