I am in an indecisive state now, it is lacking in imagination. At the moment it is very dull and annoying. Mostly this happens after school.

wow i read a LOT

do you know after doing all this stuff i just went home and sat on thursday and read ALL DAY. like literally. i read two whole books and started another. i worked out in the last 3 days i have read over 750 pages. which i think is quite a lot.

also went to a mediaeval festival thingy today and got up at quarter to seven and got a train for 3 hours and then wandered around lithgow for 3 hours and froze to death but saw jousting and then got the train 3 hours home. but it was lots of fun and there was a really nice draught horse that galloped in a really nice way.

oh and i'm not going to any movie tomorrow. i'm going to read more of my book.

in regards to movies.

Most of the movies are on at like 2:30 and we can decide when we get there what we want to see and then have time for whatever.

right ho! daylight saving and the almost possibility of living slower than everyone else

hoggy is right about everything she said.

daylight saving is when at certain times of the year (october sometime and march sometime) you change your clock to not actually make the day longer but to mean that our times fit better with when the sun is up. for example when we change TO daylight savings we put our clocks forward an hour so that 7 feels like 6 even though we call it 7. this means that since the sun gets up really early in summer we are also getting up earlier. but instead of everyone just getting up at say 6 instead of 7 and school starting at 7:30 instead of at 8:30 we just put our clocks forwards so that we do this anyway. if that makes sense. and off daylight savings is the opposite.

now for that almost possibility of actually living slower
see einstein says that not only is matter relative but so is time (special theory of relativity). according to einstein time actually slows DOWN when you get to the speed of light (300 000 km/second). matter warps as well but that's beside the point. they have done tests to prove this. they got two atomic clocks (stupidly accurate clocks) and set them to exactly the same time. then they put one on a ridiculously fast plane. then they flew the plane and the atomic clock around the world very fast for quite a while. then they landed and compared the times the clocks said and the one that had been on the plane was minutely slower than the one that hadn't. remember we're dealing with stupidly accurate clocks. they were EXACTLY the SAME before they took off and one was ever so slightly SLOW when it landed.

so in answer to your question huihui: yes time did slow down for you but only very very very very (x 100) minutely.

Answer to huis question. sry its kinda complicated

hmm lol no it isnt quite possible, because the most you can ever go back is a day.
It is decided by the international date line. if u r on one side and it is the 16th and you fly round the world to the other side it will be the 15th. And because u cannot fly any further around, you cannot gain anymore time.

The international date line is like the equator. it is an imaginary line, however unlike the equator runs around and the date line runs up and down. it goes between russia and america and through fiji, it isnt exactly straight, so as to avoid confusion on the islands. but it will be the same time on one side as the other, u just have a different day.

Then u have greenwitch, with is a place in england almost opposite the intenational date line.from there u can either be GMT+ or GMT- and those are the time zones. if u r east of green to the dateline u r GMT+ however many hours and if u r west then u r GMT- however many hours. for example australia is east of greenwitch so we are GMT+8 and parts of america are GMT-8 however once u get to GMT+12 or -12 then u reach the international date line and although u have the same time, one is a day ahead and the other is a day behind.

Daylight saving relates to the earths axis and the path around the sun but it is a human concept, like the international date line, and I'll let brigitta explain that.

So that is the explanation and stuff, now u know how earth time works. I'm sorry I just wrote an essay. i am kinda bored.

also, we were going to go to some creek but we got lost... megan, niki and josh went swimming cause they found the creek, liam and tiggy just stayed at the start and waited.

and me, tyler and jon are all MENLY MEN because we walked from leura to fucking ECHO POINT IN KATOOMBA. the others seriously have no idea how far we walked, so far that we had to catch a taxi back to leura. it was kind of ridiculous.

and tyler and jon were just like 'oh, lets not, its so much easier to turn around' and i was like 'no! we are menly mans, aren't we?' and they were like 'k'

it was awesome

and the best part? a concession return ticket to leura is $4.

Dragonball and Easter Show

So I saw Dragonball Evolution yesterday. And now I have realised. It is a bad Highschool AU fanfic. Honest to god. I mean, think about it, guise. It takes place in highschool for some reason without any explanation, the characters are all introduced in the manner of the group all running into them and them introducing themselves by saying

"hi, I'm ...", and their positions in the story have little relevance to what they were in the original - the list goes on. Also, they randomly leave out certain characters

("No, vegeta's not in it okay he went to a different school stop bugging me this is my story baaaawwww"), I'm assuming because the producers just didn't like them, or wanted them to Die For Our Ship (who did Vegeta interact with romantically? I can't remember.) The plot tries to be the same as the original, mainly so it can bear some kind of resemblance to it, which they most definitely have not achieved through character. At least they didn't cast older characters as teachers, which is far too common and utterly ridiculous. Really though, the writers, directors, whatever really didn't pay any attention to the characters themselves, they just thought of a story that had a vague similarity to the original plot and slotted in the names of character wherever they needed them, while setting the entire thing in a place they are familiar with (America)

So it a highschool AU cookie cutter fic. Excellent.

hey guys, you know, we drove around to find a shop for like long time and when we got to the place, it was a different shop and the people there was like, 'the canadian heritage design shop? that burnt down a year and a half ago.' so like, it was all wasted. and we drove up this place from our hotel in vancover in the middle of spring for thrity minutes and we ended up at this place wit.... SNOW!!!!! weeehheheheh that was so fun. except that we didnt have snow stuff so i had to buy gloves and it was really really cold that i couldnt feel my feet.

I got easter stuff! My mum is so nice! I got these things called hot crossed bun which is marshmallow covered in chocolate and it looks like a hot crossed bun. Also, mega 400g toblerone, malteser egg, kitkat bunny and massive ferrero rocher egg. Also moneys.

lol, my computer doesn't know the names of chocolate. It thought malteser was maltese, kitkat was chitchat, ferrero was ferrari, and rocher was rooter! It had no suggestions for toblerone.

Okay, moving on. We gotta go see DRAGONBALL LIEV AKTION MOOVIE, on tuesday maybe? Nothing will be open today or tomorrow. Also, easter show. I'm in Adelaide for the last four days of the hols, so we should go in the brief window of time when me and ru and hui are all here.

I know this is kinda late, but...

FFFFFF MATHS WAS SO UNEXPECTEDLY EASY!!

ahh..

I reckon I got at least 85%, possibly more. And I was only aiming for 70!  What's more, I finished with half an hour left! last year I didn't even finish, I only did half of it.

Also, history was so damn easy and I did well and all. Geography SUCKED tho. I did geo first and I was like one page into the essay, and I had an hour and ten minutes left so I was like yeah I'll go onto history now but then I didn't have any time left when I finished history. oh well.

So yeah, my german exam had this one text that was so fucking hard and I had to look up like every fucking word so I missed most of that section and PROBABLY LOST MORE THAN 10 MARKS

once (a few months ago) i had a sudden and startling realisation that whenever i moved i made turbulence in the air around and that if i could see the air i would be the centre of a swirling ball of chaos. for some reason i imagined the air currents as purpley pink. then if you imagine the balls of chaos that is everyone else moving around you and it starts getting too complex. i can't map that level of chaos in my head. i don't mean dodgy chaos i mean like real proper turbulence currents, how the air would actually move to a certain degree. but it's weird suddenly realising that you're infinitely connected to everything else and that despite how small we are we have a measurable effect on the universe. it's that confucian thing: a butterfly flaps its wings in brazil and causes a tsunami in thailand. it's funny though because being suddenly realising it quite different to being told it and it's very profound, even though it probably sounds stupid.

on another point: the universe is infinite. an infinite thing has no centre. therefore every single thing in the universe could be seen to be its centre. that includes you (collectively) and i and what's more we're all the centre of the universe at the same time.

I hate it when people have issues. This is why I have decided never to have issues. And so, I do not have them. Also, I hate getting involved in other people's issues. Sucks.

Stop worrying about exams, guys! Exams are like happy fun time! If it's something you know you'll do bad in, it doesn't matter if you do bad! So don't worry about it! Especially you Hoggy. Slap me, bitch. (not rly calling you a bitch btw [or telling you to slap me]) So yeah, exams are fun.  It's like an in-class test, except bigger and you get time off. Sweet! Also, it's a challenge against the paper. Like, it wants you fail, man. Beat the paper into submission! I will be the ultimate ruler of the paper!

Thirdly

Cynicism. I get it. I am cynical sometimes. I mean, the world can be a pretty crappy place and all and stuff sucks etc. But I really hate it when ppl get on your case for being optimistic, as if hope and pride in being human and believing in the good of people are faults and will make you weaker or whatever. Fuck that! Humans may not be the kindest or strongest of all creatures, but the human spirit can and does accomplish amazing things, and many people can show amazing displays of kindness and generosity. Did you know that humans are the only species that shows generosity, concern and empathy towards those outside of our family? We have sets of moral values that we not only abide by, but feel angry at those who do not. If that doesn't say something pretty damn good about humans, I don't know what does.  And I hate it when ppl are like oh humans are so weak so slow such bad senses etc. Shut the fuck up! We may not be able, relatively, to accomplish amazing physical feats, but we don't need to. We have incredible advanced brains, enough to become the dominant species on earth, the ability to form complex social networks, and the ability of amazing complex thought processes.

Fuck it, my point is

HUMANS ARE GOOD. HUMANS ARE SMART. STOP HATING ON YOUR OWN SPECIES.
