so what do you guys think about the internet censorship thing, cause i dont think it will be that bad. sure it will slow down download speeds, but only by a tiny amount and its worth it to not have people watching "how to make a car bomb" on the internets, and exploding it in my face

no but seriously, i think this thing is just gonna fuck up australia and everyone under the age of 30 (basically the next generations) are gonna hate it, but when we get our turn to play politics, it'll be some kid who has no idea what the internet is, or how to use it... so they'll think its a good idea.
duuuuuhhhhhhh this prolly means that ubisofts drm will somehow "accidentally" get blocked when they make an R18 game, such as assassins creed 3 or something, that'll get pirated to australia...

on the trial of the filters, many irrelevant sites were blocked... porn sites mostly, sure, but thats the whole internet anyway. but also sites like a dentist and an elictrician...

It won't work, it'll block legal sites, it'll slow down our already shitty net, and won't do anything to stop child pornography or terrorists.
Sure, it sounds good in theory, but in the end it's doomed to fail. Nevermind the fact that this technology already exists, it's simply a matter of making your OWN CHOICE to go and buy anti-porn filters.
Fucking makes me rage so fucking hard. No porn, no chans, no downloading R+18 games, a step backwards from getting decent service providers and a variety of other miscelanious sites that'd be blocked. Seriously it's making me consider going to another country to join the air force...
