Presenting Colonel in Chief, Nils Olav.

Nils Olav is a King penguin and he is currently the mascot and colonel in chief of the kings guard. (you can read more about the battalion known as the kings guard in this wikipedia article)

In August 2008, he was visited by the Norweigian King's Guard and awarded a Knighthood. "During the ceremony a crowd of several hundred people joined the 130 guardsmen at the zoo to hear a citation from King Harald the Fifth of Norway read out, which described Nils as a penguin 'in every way qualified to receive the honour and dignity of knighthood'."
Here is a nice statue of him:

and some other stuff i plagarised from wikipedia:
Place of birth: Edinburgh Zoo
Allegiance: Norway
Service/branch: Norwegian Army
Years of service: 1972 - current (he is the third successor of this royalty thing so he is continueing his service from the other penguins before him.)
Rank: Colonel-in-Chief & mascot
Unit: Hans Majestet Kongens Garde
And here is a nice picture of when he was receiving his knighthood:
