is it just me...

is it just me or is everyone slightly forgetting about the blog? i think hui said something about it today. like no one is posting anything or anything. i mean a couple of months ago you couldn't not check the blog for a day without having to read a backlog of posts whereas now you can not check it for a week and have the same sort of backlog.

also i have a small rant on teenagers who think they're really deep but really aren't. cos like teenagers say something and they think it's all deep and meaningful cos it makes no sense but i mean what's with that cos if it doesn't make sense then it doesn't make sense and so therefore it's not deep. for something to be deep it actually has to be a relevant and sense-making comment on something which is actually penetrating and stuff. i mean it's all very good and well saying stuff that makes no sense and pretending that it's deep as like a joke on people who do say things and think that they're deep when they're really not but if you're one of those people who actually do do that then i'm sorry but you get on my nerves. because for fuck's sake think about what you're saying. especially if you want it to be deep don't just come out with some shit that sounds meaningful until you think about it and realise that it's all utter bullshit. and doesn't actually make any sense at all and is therefore not deep in the slightest. and anyway what's with the whole thing of even wanting to be deep. sure it's nice to think that you're saying something meaningful and thought provoking about the world and our society and stuff but really who gives a shit what you think anyway? no offence or anything. but i mean if you want to be deep then actually be deep and don't just make some shit up and pretend that it's deep cos anyone with a brain will understand that it really isn't deep at all and will just think you're a dumbass and be annoyed by you. also what's sad is that most people seem not to have brains and to think the things that these people say actually really are deep and that's just tragic. i mean i guess you could argue what constitutes deep anyway but i really think that to be deep whatever it is that you're saying has to at least stand up to the weakest form of scrutiny cos if it falls down at that level then you really are kidding yourself to think that you're deep.
