We are out of the hole.

so yeah, were back and like lots of kids say they wont go to school tmr because their tired and stuffs but they will probs turn up anyways. yay, joel, we will see you tmr!! and my tatoo is still in great conditon. i took lots of pics in canberra but i cant be bothered to upload them yet so yeah. but canberra is actually a hole as in literalii. like when we when to that high place on the mountain hill cliff thing, you can actually see that canberra is a hole. and like jules, vaile and tyler got caugt being in the girl's cabin so they had to clean up after people and jules also got caught the night before sneaking out so he was liek in lots of trouble. but the teachers are all like, if a guy goes into a girl's cabin, its rape. and if a girl goes into a guys cabin, its to say hi or something. like when ms tatsis saw vaile, tyler and jules come out of the girl's cabin, she was all like, 'omg, i don't even want to know what happened in there' and it was like nothing. nothing happen. teachers seriously think that we are all horny teenagers who have sex 24/7. and mr daly and mr giliete (dont know how to spell) saw me come out of the guy's cabin and was all like, 'you not meant to be there are you?' and i was all like, 'no..., i went in to find a jumper...' and then i walk away and they dont care. and also when ms tatsis came into our cabin and liam was inside, she was like looking at her clipboard and liam ninja-ed straight past in front of her without her knowing and escaped. and we went on tours in museums and people fell asleep in them. and like i cant remember much iin like the tours. but the last museum we went to was pretty awesum cause the teachers actually didnt care and we had loads of free time to run around and it was cool. and the food is terrible. powdered eggs. that cant be good. but in the morning, the bacon wasnt to0 bad. and manakon was wearing a pink shirt and jon was wearing a magenta jumper. pink is cool. and the teachers shared cabins (wonder what they talk about..[students maybe?]) but most of the places we went to were pointless and i rather we stayed at the cabin place and just hung out and do stuff then waste time at pointless boring tours. and star trek was awesome. the public people probably hated us though. and someone left their bra behind in our cabin and we didnt know who it was....

you thought it was a waste of time? i actually found some good stuff out. i mean nothing i couldn't have found on the internet or in a book but that's ok cos i got to look at actual uniforms and posters and pamphlets and things. and it was three days off school where we did like no work. what are you complaining about?

it was cold at night.

you have no idea.

none of you. all your cabins had working heaters and at least warm showers.*

and me, em and tyler got nothing out of it at all.

* k fine, we had showers that were scalding hot or freezing cold. but whatever.

BMSilverFish said...

at least you didn't have to shower with a whole bunch of men in tights right after a row where we smell like potato chips from all the salt and sweat...

oh you did to say it was awesome! it was said good humouredly anyway. and sam your topic is deabteable though. cos as far as i'm aware in most of the wars we've been in so far there's been no manipulation just us getting over excited.

Șмž said...

who caused us to be over excited? the british, and our own messed up sense of patriotism.
it was a very clever move by britain to allow us federation, because it meant that if britain ever needed militiary support, australians (as well as other 'independant' nations like NZ) would provide cheap, expendable, loyal troops that the british wouldn't have to worry about training or supplying.

if ever a war should occur in britain, we would be willing to jump straight in to show we're big kids now, and that we can help out our parents. indeed, mesuspects manipulation.

they even abused our forces, i.e. keep them to save britain when we needed them. but it kinda backfired when the americans entered the picture with their big ass-forces to save us in WWII from the japanese. since then, australians have loved americans... (and aussie blokes hated em cause they got all the chicks, too :p)

because of this, the americans had exactly the same use of us as the british did. when they went to war in vietnam, afghanistan, iraq and terror, australians all wanted to show america how good we are, and jumped in afterwards.

through the use of one save, and careful diplomatics, both the british and americans have been able to use our troops in place of us, and we seem to be dissilusioned that we are in control.

rudd, he's just copying obama.

"
obama: we will start to pull troops out of afghanistan, iraq, etc.
rudd: we will start to pull troops out of afghanistan, iraq, wherever. you know, what he said.
"

even though rudd started it first, _slowly_...

check.

i still don't think that we were manipulated. not in the sense you're implying anyway. i don't think britain or america ever 'planned' anything the way you say. i mean if any sort of diplomacy and alliance is 'manipulation' the way you say it is then all anyone has ever done is be manipulated and manipulate others. i don't think we were manipulated into the first or second world wars. i think the only war we could be said to have been manipulated into was vietnam. i mean if we have an alliance with britain or america (or whoever) then what an ally does is support an ally. that's not manipulation.

Quite Sam, I was fine, the showers were fine and the beds were fine. The heaters... well they were Madison'd. Enough said.

AcionMan! said...

And, Lol, Sam, our involvement in the Mid East was provoked by the ANZUS treaty. Basically, if either A, NS or US (guess who's who) gets attacked, both other people helped. 9/11 was considered an attack on America, so it activated our treaty with America.

Nam? Can't say the same. Mr. Sommis actually taught us that in the beginning we hugely supported the war, since we were stupid and thought "communism" was one movement that would work to destroy capitalism, so if Nam fell then all of SE Asia would and then it would be us.

And then the hippies came...
