Place I really really want to go

Welcome to Russian Land, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.

This park was first opened in 1993 to encourage relations between Russia and Japan.

it was closed and reopened several times after renovations in 2002 but it was only opened for 6 months before it was closed forever. Pictured is the giftshop

Here is the penthouse ^

The town square where Russian festivals were celebrated and Russian culture appreciated

A church where people got married in

And woolly mammoths.

We should all go because the entry is free and there is a high chance of getting the entire park to ourselves. All the merchandise and souveniors are free too.
