shit guys, tribes (informative information time)

that post about that whale got me to thinking (I don't know how but it did) /procrastinating

there are,
tribes around the world who don't live with us humans. they still live the lifestyle of 'primitive cultures'. they have no idea how big the world really is or the complexities of it or anything like that. global warming, air travel, the internet, cars, organised sport, the geography of the world, ancient history. things like that. like the neolithic culture on the north sentinel islands (near india) called the sentinelese of whom we know pretty much nothing.
so yeah,

theres this one tribe called the Akuntsu, right. they live in the Amazon forest. they will be completely gone within our lifetime, actually probably in the next 20 years. from a population of about 100 people, their culture has been reduced to 6 by ranchers looking for farmland. One of them has since died. In 2000, they had their last child, who died of disease. There are 3 women, one elderly, and two men, one elderly also.

all the remaining members (one guy is behind one of the women):

That's really shit.
but like, just sitting here typing about them. I realised just then,

people are so fucked up
