NDS or GBA? cause it doesnt matter which version, all ruby+sapphire+emerald+firered+leafgreen will work with ea other, provided the game is beaten, as will diamond, pearl, platinum, but not w ea other...
and you cant link gba games over nds.

well there are more options wiv red etc and beside ds are to expensive if ya lose it
